Research Hub
The purpose of Research Hub is to promote a research culture among faculty and students. It also aims to facilitate interdisciplinary and collaborative research by supporting high-quality publications, projects, and innovations.
Requirements
- Dedicated research space with internet-enabled workstations
- Access to institutional library and e-resources
- Availability of statistical and analytical software/tools
- Meeting rooms for research discussions and presentations
It also requires mentoring by senior faculty and recognized research supervisors for their assistance in research design, methodology, and data analysis, which also includes support for proposal writing, grant applications, and project management.
Activities include, organization of workshops, seminars, FDPs, and webinars on research methodology. Training on academic writing, publication ethics, and plagiarism prevention. Sessions on intellectual property rights (IPR) and patent filing.
Periodic review of research progress and outcomes is a must. research policies of the institution should be in compliance with UGC. Strict ethical research practices through institutional ethics mechanisms should be followed.
