Centre of Excellence Jeevan Kaushal Kendra
Jeevan Kaushal Kendra is a comprehensive skill-based enrichment initiative introduced in the academic year 2024–25 with the objective of equipping students with life skills, employability skills, creative abilities, and entrepreneurial competencies beyond the regular curriculum.
This initiative is exclusively designed for second-year students of all departments, a crucial stage where students transition from foundational learning to career-oriented skill development. The programme provides hands-on, experiential learning through various specialized clubs that nurture creativity, leadership, wellness, financial awareness, technological proficiency, and social responsibility.
Jeevan Kaushal Kendra aims to create confident, competent, and socially responsible graduates capable of adapting to dynamic professional and societal challenges.
Objectives
- To inculcate practical life skills and employability competencies among students beyond the academic curriculum.
- To inculcate effective communication, creativity, leadership, and interpersonal skills through experiential learning.
- To inculcate entrepreneurial thinking and innovation to prepare students for self-employment and career growth.
- To inculcate digital, technical, and logical skills aligned with emerging industry and societal needs.
- To inculcate values of physical fitness, mental wellness, social responsibility, and ethical conduct.

Assessment Structure
Assessment under Jeevan Kaushal Kendra will be conducted through a continuous and activity-based evaluation system to ensure effective skill acquisition and active participation. Students will be assessed based on:
- Regular attendance and active participation in club activities
- Hands-on practical performance and skill demonstration
- Assignments / mini projects / presentations relevant to the chosen club
- Creativity, teamwork, and discipline during activities
- Overall involvement and completion of the programme requirements
Assessment will be carried out by faculty coordinators. Students who successfully complete the programme and meet the assessment criteria will be awarded a Certificate of Participation by the institution.
