The  Department of Psychology and Social Work, Hindustan College of Arts and Science, in association with Sustainable Development Council organized a Special lecture on Equality and Non discrimination on 03rd September 2025 at Seminar hall. The lecture was scheduled from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM.

The workshop was graced by the presence of our respected dignitaries –Head’s, Dean’s and other staffs who encouraged and motivated the students with their valuable words.

The resource persons for the workshop were Dr. Mary Shuttleworth & Dr. R. Datchana Moorthy. The lecture aimed to sensitize students to issues of equity, justice, and inclusivity, highlighting the Agenda for Sustainable Development provides a framework for eliminating discrimination and ensuring equality for all.

Students actively participated in special lecture as equality and non-discrimination foster creativity, collaboration, and productivity. Diverse groups bring varied perspectives, which can enhance problem-solving and innovation.
