The Department of Psychology organized the monthly flagship event “Psychologist of the Month” on 26 September 2025 to honor Dr. Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis. This initiative aims to familiarize students with seminal figures in psychology and their enduring contributions to understanding the human mind.

Sigmund Freud’s theories particularly on the unconscious mind, dream analysis, and the structural model of personality have profoundly influenced modern psychology, literature, and culture. To commemorate his death anniversary, this month’s program celebrated his pioneering ideas through interactive learning and creative expression.

Students learnt about the contributions of Freud to the field of psychology through the concepts and theories which was delivered in the form of skit.
