Physical Education has become an integral part of education, which aims at improvising the human performance through several physical activities, for the holistic development of physical, moral, ethical, social, mental and emotional healthy citizens.
The College has well established play grounds and infrastructure for sports and games. Our students are divided into Four Houses; each House consisting of a mixed equal number of students from every department, year and class. The Physical Education department organizes several sports and games competitions for these Four Houses, to motivate the students to participate in various inter-collegiate, inter-university and open tournaments. Our College has exemplary basketball, volleyball, cricket, football, kho kho [girls and boys] kabbadi, martial arts teams.
- The 19th Asan Inter College Volleyball Tournament concluded with an exciting final between Hindustan College of Arts & Science and Gurunak College of Arts & Science. Around 20 colleges from across Tamil Nadu participated in the tournament, making it a highly competitive and spirited event.
- In the final match, Hindustan College delivered a strong and consistent performance to defeat Gurunak College and lift the championship trophy. The tournament showcased exceptional talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship from all participating teams.
