Educational Support

Hindustan College of Arts & Science (HCAS) is committed to promoting inclusive and quality education by supporting students through various “Management Scholarship Schemes”. These scholarships are designed to encourage academic excellence, provide financial support to deserving students, and promote equal opportunities for all. Every year, the Management extends scholarships to many students across multiple categories, demonstrating its strong commitment to student welfare and educational empowerment.

Learning Grant

The Management provides scholarships on the following grounds

Merit Scholarship

  • Awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance in their qualifying examinations

Sibling Scholarship

  • Provided to students whose siblings are already studying at HCAS, supporting families with multiple students.

Padur Scholarship (Local Community Welfare Scholarship)

  • A special scholarship for students who qualify under the Padur category, aimed at supporting deserving candidates.

Alumni Scholarship

  • Offered to the alumni pursuing higher education, strengthening the bond within the HCAS community

Dr.K.C.G Verghese Foundation Scholarship

  • Offered for special courses such as BSW, B.Sc. Psychology, and other selected programs to encourage students in social work and psychological sciences.

Christian Minority Scholarship

  • Offered to students belonging to the Christian minority community to promote education and social development

First Graduate Scholarship

  • Extended to students who are the first graduates in their family, encouraging higher education among first-generation learners.

Empowerher Scholarship

  • Exclusively for girl students, this scholarship aims to promote women’s education and empowerment

Sports person Scholarship

  • Granted to students who have represented at State or National level sports events, encouraging sports excellence along with academics.Selection will be based on trials conducted by the institution.

Scholarship Reach & Support

HCAS Management Scholarships benefit many students every year. Approximately 1,500 students receive financial assistance annually, with a total scholarship amount of around Rs. 50 lakhs sanctioned per year. This initiative reflects the institution’s strong commitment to promoting educational access, reducing financial barriers, and supporting overall student success.

How to Apply

Students can apply for Management Scholarships during the admission process by submitting the required documents. Eligibility and the scholarship amount will be decided based on the category and supporting documents.
