Students Research
To foster a culture of academic inquiry, the Student Research implements a structured progression of scholarly activities across all academic levels. These initiatives ensure students transition from foundational understanding to independent publication.
Strategic Research Framework
The Council has standardized four key academic strategies to integrate research into the curriculum:
- Methodology Foundation: All Undergraduate (UG) students complete a mandatory paper on Research Methodology.
- Skill Development: First-year students participate in a specialized Research Skills course to establish early competency.
- Practical Application: Internal assessments now include survey-based research projects to encourage data-driven analysis.
- Advanced Inquiry: Postgraduate (PG) students must complete a formal Research Dissertation as a graduation requirement.
Student-Led Publications
A cornerstone of the program is the publication of annual student journals within every department. These journals serve as a platform for peer-reviewed academic expression and are managed through a collaborative process:
- Student Ownership: Students are responsible for writing articles, editing, and graphic design.
- Faculty Mentorship: Departmental faculty provide strategic guidance to ensure academic rigor and publishing standards.
- Executive Execution: The entire publication lifecycle, from conceptualization to final printing, is executed by the student body.
